Young bass phenom Matt Garrison (McLauglin, Zawinul, Scofield) has released his first solo effort. The result is a powerful mix of jazz, fusion, world musics and drum and bass textures.

The tunes feature Garrison's impressive harmonies, lines, and make use of an extremely well-selected cast of musicians including one of the finest young jazz/fusion guitarists, Adam Rogers of Lost Tribe who plays some his most impressive solos to date.

Other musicians include the cream of the modern jazz/fusion crop: David Gilmore (guitar), Gene Lake (drums), Ben Perowsky (drums), Dave Binney (sax), Scott Kinsey (keyboards), Amit Chaterjee (Indian sitarist, vocalist) and Arto Tuncboyacian (percussionist/vocalist). In addition to the "burn", Garrison displays a lyrical side as well. Highly recommended.
