ShapeShifter Lab presents the Workshop series, a chance for musicians and students to learn with Matthew Garrison.Teacher Profile:
Matthew Garrison is known for playing with such artists as Herbie Hancock, Joe Zawinul, John Scofield, and John McLaughlin. He also spent 3 years at Berklee College of Music teaching at the bass department as a professor. Known for inventing his particular style of the 4 –finger pizzicato technique, his unique compositional style, and his individual approach to harmonic expression, Matthew is one of the most in demand teachers in the bass world.
All workshops will take place at Matthew's new venue ShapeShifter Lab in Brooklyn.
